So its that time of year when our pug starts to get a little funky smelling, between the heat and humidity, she gets itchy( as most of you are aware of her skin problems) and she starts to get that trademark doritos/fritos/something ain't right smell, so mommy heather decided to give her a bathe, one of her least favourite things to do, shes never been a huge fan of the bath/water, although I would love to take her swimming sometime to see if she would come in with me. So of course after her bath she has her usual burst of energy and decides to do laps around the apartment and rub her wet hairy self on every piece of furniture and human available, and as were watching big brother, she decides she is going to do everything possible to interupt the show, like chase a water bottle around and try and pick it up so everytime she bites into it, it makes that loud crinkly noise that is cute for about 2 seconds, so she does that for awhile and then moves on to the towel that she got dried off in, and the brush we used to brush her with, so we figure ok, fine, its time to take her outside, at least that way she can burn off some energy, its a good thing that we love her because sometimes, theres only so much a pug lovin' woman like myself can take!!

Well Hello everyone! We are so sorry that it has taken SO long to post a new blog, but it has been a crazy couple of months!! mommy and I moved to toronto to live with my other mommy, thank goodness because I really missed her!!We are now finally settled in, and for the most part unpacked, so hopefully we will start posting regular blogs and pictures of me in the new apartment!I hope people still read my blog and haven't given up on me?!

On Febuary 17th pugsly attended her 3rd pug party, although we didn't stay too long, we got a few pictures and pugsly got to mingle with quite a few pugs! Pugsly is wearing a sweater her mommy bought her for christmas , it says " cold paws...warm heart" I had another shirt for pugsly to wear that was red and said "SPOILED...And your point is?"but unfortunately pugsly has been getting a little fluffy in the waist area and it did not look flattering on her, so we went with the sweater instead!! We don't know if pugsly will be attending any more pug parties, she's not the most social pug, she's actually quite afraid of the other dogs (even the tiniest puppy!)it's really quite embarassing , ha ha!I think it's pretty fair to say she's quite sheltered and spoiled and not use to other dogs around getting more attention then her, hmm, I can't help but feel this is somehow my fault? well I will try to post more often, she has a few outfits she got for christmas that i know her aunties would like pictures of her in, so stay tuned!!

Happy New Year everyone!! I know it's been awhile ( ok its been a month ) and clearly this is not a pic of pugsly or pug related lol but, if I may, let me introduce you to Kairi Lynn, she is my new little neice and god daughter, my very first!!! pugsly is a little jealous of her, she is not use to having something small and cute to compete with for attention, I love pugsly very much and she knows that but she is also very demanding of love and affection lol, she's use to being spoiled, and I would never neglect her for anyone or anything else!! Pugsly has a doctors apt on wednesday, I do hate going to the vet, those people make me so angry, but we'll see how it goes, well I will update again soon with the new things pugsly got for christmas from the family, she got some pretty quite clothes and toys and is very excited to show them off!! This is a picture of pugsly from last year at christmas time, she is wearing a sweater/fleece that was made by someone, and given to her by her aunt jenny and jamie, it was a little big on her at the time, I should take a picture of her in it this year and see how it compares, she looks so tiny in that picture, not so much anymore lol. Heather went out this weekend ( she was down to visit us) and bought pugsly's christmas present, it is so adorable, I know she will love it, pugsly gets quite spoiled at christmas time, well, ok, she gets spoiled all the time but still, christmas she really cleans up. Some time within the next week or so, there will be a new edition to the family ( no, unfortunately , it's not another pug, not yet anyway) my sister in law is having her first child, she is due on the 19th, but were pretty sure she is coming sooner than that, I am becoming an aunt for the first time to a neice, Kairi Lynn. Pugsly hasn't really been around a baby before, so we will see how that goes, she loves children, but she doesn't like the attention being off of her for any reason, I hope she doesn't get jealous, she knows she's still our little girl!!

So here is harold from the pug party, as you can see harold is the cutest little thing, not cuter than our pugsly of course, but he comes in a close second lol, he was very socialable, making his rounds he's quite the little ladies man, I was thisclose to snatching him up and making a run for it! we hope to get another pug very soon, and after seeing harold, I'm seriously leaning towards a black one!! I know Heather thinks we have our hands full with the one we have already, but I'm sure once she see's this adorable little face she will be on board with the whole thing as well, lol, here's to wishful thinking!!

After countless tries and tries to upload this picture, here it is! Pugsly went to the party with a red top and red collar fit with bells and fur, she also had matching leg bands ( wich didn't stay on for too long ) and a cute little hat with antler's that lit up, I must say she is quite the fashionista if I do say so myself. I think she did a lot better this time around then last, she's warming up, wich is good because when we get another pug ( oh yes, there will be another pug) hopefully she won't be as jealous. Heather unfortunately couldn't make it to this party, although she did want to make it, hopefully next time if weather is permitting, she comes from Toronto, so you have to take into consideration the weather, now that it's getting into that time of year.

Little Pugsly had her Christmas pug party yesterday, and as you can see, when she came home she was pooped, must of been all that running from everyone and everything that came near her what did it, lol! She was still a bit shy but I think she was warming up some, she went out a few times and was smelling other dogs and even had a little play with (forgive me if I get it wrong) but I think it was ozkar? i think she was still trying to show him that she was spookier than he was at the last party,haha, but honestly I think she had a good time, she played with heidi a bit and even played with harold, a black pug who despite peeing on my video camera case, was quite friendly and adorable, pictures of the party are coming soon, and all and all it was a good time, can't wait for the next one!
